Through EEA Grant GenICa collaboration between Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, Slovakia and the University of Iceland (BioMedical Center), members from the University of Iceland have the opportunity to attend the Student Scientific International Conference that will be held in Slovakia, Hotel Academia, Stará Lesná, High Tatras, June 19 – 21, 2024. This is a small conference with 40 participants. The University of Iceland has allocated 10 fully paid spots for the conference attendance and travel expenses plus 2 more spots with coverage of the conference fee.
The topics of the conference cover a wide range of human health sciences from molecular life sciences to pharmaceutical sciences. This is open to members of the GPMLS program and BMC. Students at PhD and MSc levels are welcome as well as post-docs, PIs and other members. Those that are interested in attending this conference please register by using this link by 31st of January. Students and post-docs are expected to give a talk so please register with a suggested title of the talk. The abstract can be submitted later (template attached). Due to a limited number of participants from the University of Iceland, the board of GPMLS may need to select participants based on topics and study levels.
